You can go with an old spoon and a cube that is in the house or you can venture into the garden center and buy garden tools made from the reach of children. Give them a space of their own. It must be great. This will teach them responsibility and ownership, and their children will be able to take credit for their own space.

    Get the Craft! Press or dried flowers to make a beautiful setting, make potpourri, or make a button ball. Children love doing things and be amazed at the craft and gift that can be done by the garden. Grow a vegetable garden. Your children are amazed they can grow their own food. Make sure to use organic pesticides.
